It was part of a potted gift that my SIL gave me in 2007.....am amazed that it re-flowered (this year) in our temperate climate. This next flower is a vine (Kennedia nigricans) which is 'pruned' on a regular basis by Mr. Possum..the flower looks black but is actually a deep purple with a yellow flash. It is a relatively new plant in my garden..since last year, from memory. Finally this poor plant has waited ... Its called Angelonia serena lavender .Its classed as an annual but some sites say it could be a perennial in tropics , we shall see . It grows anywhere from 12 inches to 18 inches , bushes naturally and is always in flower, comes in PURPLE, WHITE, LAVENDER and PINK. Sites say it will grow from vic to the tropics.I think its a cute plant.I hope it grows as a perennial. Angelonia serena. common nams . summer snapdragon.
