That looks pinker than normal, they usually flower red.

Pity they're such a weed up here. Mongrels for the plumbing too.

I know how difficult it can be to take photos of rainbow lories... you've done a great job... love the last one peaking through the flowers.

I think the flowers look pinker than usual is because of the lighting and that it is mainly still in bud rather than full flower yet.
