| oh...i miss that.
and i miss winter with snow and warm fires and baked food and frost on the windows...and most of all...central heating!!!

| Thanks for sharing Richard lovely photo's.. I too miss the Autumn leaves, the Japanese Maple and Liquidambar, Golden Elm and Ash also the Claret Ash that were growing in the back yard of our home in Melbourne.. I don't miss the cold though.  | |

| Beautiful countryside and the skies are lovely and clear. I don't mind the smell of cows (as long as they are fully grass fed not grain fed ), miss ours sometimes but the neighbours have a couple. | |

how do you heat your house, richard? 2kms away there a dead end that runs to the river,down each side are hundreds of wilding pines trees, the last 9 years i've been taking all the double leaders misshaped etc for firewood and trim up best trees,its starting to good now. We have a log fire that heats our water plus we cook on as well,our power bill is half that of summertime but time of year the waterpump runs 24hours a day. i hate winter cold tessa,but i enjoy when its snows | |
