A very confusing species Marlene . I have spent time and I think yours is a hybrid of
Alocasia amazonica. using .

A. watsoniana X A. sanderian
===================

I don't think its A. longiloba.

A. watsoniana is classed as A. longiloba which in turn is confused with A.micholitziana.

You could go crazy trying to sort out the correct Alocasia names ,abut its an interesting subject.
I'd be interested to see if any other GD member has an opinion.

Marlenes is different to Gwens. This has the wavy leaf edges of amazonica or a cross. Gwens has the straight edges of longiloba. I have a longiloba cross which isn't very big yet, I will try and get some pics later.
