| . Ok Girls I need a little help here first time Lillian grower. I have a pink and this orange one, I bought them early May in bloom. I assume these green things are seed pods: But what would these round red shaped thing growing on the stem: Are they new bud stems coming and if so how long down the track will it be before they flower, and if they are not new buds any idea as to what they are , maybe new leaves and when is the normal time that Lillian's burst into bloom... | |

| Pretty liliums. On the bottom pic it looks like little bulbils on the stems though I don't know much about liliums. I just found this http://www.botany.com/lilium.html Scroll down to propagtion, it mentions bulbils on the stems. | |

| If you are getting stem bubils no point in growing from seed unless you want hundreds of bulbs down the track. The bulbils should flower in a couple of years if they get plenty of tlc.bye Ray | |
