Roma Street Parklands.. Annuals.

What a beautiful place this was a glow with colour so bright and Tropical.
So many Annuals and a few Perennials thrown in as well..

Stunning... and all those annuals are tough waterwise ones. The crotons are putting on a good display and I love the NG Impatiens tower.

Yes they are Gail, And they had a few of those Impatien Towers. A great Idea..

Richard it is a 16 hectare site and only 5 years old and covers a derelict railway yard
Oh its a Sub-Tropical Wonderland with pools, and lakes and little dribbling waterfalls
So many different plants.. We are going again as I did not have time to see it all in five hours.

There are many more multi story buildings there that over look Park and a Amphitheatre also a huge playing field
So they would get Sports and Entertainment as well..

You do Val the Crem when you have a sleep over

The parklands normally have a great website which I found once before but is currently undergoing redevelopment. I'd love to see it, it has all changed there since last time I was there... my father used to work in the Roma St Mail Exchange across the road for many years. Wish they had a park there then.

Cheryl, the crem can't hold a candle to those parklands!
