I have a Staghorn that never gets any horn leaves.
It there a particular variety that looks like the pic below or is it a faulty specimen.

It's a healthy looking stag Marlene but still only looks young yet. The older leaves won't start to hang down until it matures more.

Yours looks a bit yellow but that could just be the photo. Does it get plenty of leaves falling in it? If not throw a handful of compost/leaf mulch in occasionally.

Marlene I agree it looks young yet . I find banana skins are wonderful fertiliser for all ferns
Take a banana next time you go out in the garden, eat the banana and put the skin in the bowl of the fern.They are good protein and are goog tossed in among any ferns. beer

I used to think the same thing once but since we have had so much rain this year gasp
Just make sure you have no ants near that fern before you do that ... whistle
