| I don't know if any of you remember the old trailer we planted bromeliads in a few months ago... there are a few broms in pots in it too here to fill up some gaps... photo taken 2nd March. This is the trailer now. No pots in it anymore just Neoregelia macwilliamsii in the top and Cryptobergia 'Red Burst' on the sides with a little Spanish Moss. The Neos have coloured up nicely and are flowering... still a few gaps but will move a few pups soon to fill them up. The Crypts are pupping too and will split them up when they are big enough... must take that concrete mushroom out of there and put it back in the garden with the others - one of the kids put it there. Hopefully in another 12mths we won't be able to see much of the trailer. Close up of a flower One of the plants has stripes... apparently it is a fairly common occurrence with these. | |

| Just a great show Gail. MA sent me Broms awhile ago and I had nowhere planned to grow them , so they were put into the cavities of cement blocks to wait till I could plan how to arrange a good permanent place for them.or them.7 all different are surviving and I'm still thinking about it. | |

| Thanks.
Gwen, broms do very well in pots or any container... or even planted on that big tree that fell... the one you took a picture of with Miss Pixie on it.

| What an unusual idea!
It will just get better and better as they grow.

It would certainly be better once we can't see the ugly trailer underneath
