| Why is it I always come out of Bunnings with much more than what I have on my shopping list, it is so hard to resist the plants in that place These were the only Sunflower seeds they had there.. So of course I bought both What I am really after Is med sized ones with black in the centre and floppy long petals Does anyone know if we have them here in OZ.. Could not resist this yellow Kangaroo Paw.. Could not make my mind up White or Pink so I bought both.. I always wanted a white Kalanchoe Trouble is when I see so many different colours together I want them all..

| LOL, MA, does anyone ever come out of Bunnings with just what they went in for ?? Well maybe some blokes do - mine would - but addicted gardeners won't. | |

| MA . Just keep doing all the things you get happiness from , I'm sure Tony agrees . Same goes for Betty. We don 't have a BUNNINGS STORE ,mores the pity. On my scooter trip today discovered a bandicoot has tipped over a pot that held a young Anthurium plant , only 2 leaves left , no roots left , must have eaten them , or is it a bulb they have.? | |

| I love that yellow Kangaroo Paw, Mary-Anne, and the sunflowers too - can you tell yellow is one of my favorite colours? I wish we'd get a Bunnings, then a couple of other Hardware places might pull up their socks. One doesn't have plants at all, and the other did away with the kitchen section. | |

| I'm off to Bunnings myself tomorrow. Want an insecticide but I am sure I will come home with more then just that.
I like the Kalanchoe's Mary-Anne. | |

| No .... You are right there Val my Tony is like me too Oh Yes Gwen... Tony is doing a lot of paving at the chook yard fence with a new wider gate and arch we cannot grow anything up the arch because of the pavers but he has made me two planter boxes out of pavers so the sunflowers will look good there and the chooks will benefit from them also.. No Bunnings Store you know I could not live with one.. Sorry to hear about your plant we don't have bandicoots here Gwen but we certainly have enough other things to make up for them I bet.. | |

| I am a bit that way myself Betty as you can tell, yes that Kangaroo paw is lovely I wanted the green and red one but it was double the price maybe next time and if not then next year then.. You would be a lot poorer if there was a Bunnings store in your area Betty.. You probably will Marlene yes the Kalanchoes are pretty so much different from the red and the cream/yellow/orange one I have.. They had a Medinilla like the one in Roma St Parkland's but I had gone over the budget so I left it there | |

| I like that double pink kalanchoe I grew those bronze sunflowers one year... they were very pretty. Don't have a bunnings here but are supposed to be coming soon. Not sure that we do want them as the town isn't really big enough for more nurseries and hardware type stores so they would shut down so we would have less choice. | |

| Thanks Fay I Bunnings too, we also have a huge Mitre 10 store the same. I liked the double too Gail that's why I bought it, it so different from the singles. We have no nurseries around here it was the drought that shut them down with the huge water bills, water has gone up nearly 300% in the past few years. Cant work out why the BigW I buy lots of plants from has removed their Nursery as there is no competition at all over the East side of the HWY.. | |
