Thanks Betty yes I did I ate half of the SS Peas, I am not one for cooked carrots I prefer them raw, Tony enjoyed them though. I had pumpkin one we grew also.

Gail not many to pick in one day yet, though there are plenty of flowers and small peas on the vines I love this time of year there is so much in the garden to eat.. banana banana

If you have something planted... too much to do to even get into the vegies lately though I did manage to get some more seeds planted this morning. What vegies I do have are doing ok though the cold slows them down Sad Onions, shallots and lettuce are doing well but was late getting tomatoes planted so didn't start bearing enough for winter - only getting a few.

I can't wait to get the spring/summer vegies in which are our favourites - tomatoes, cukes, watermelon & other melons and corn, also getting low on pumpkins again - at least silverbeet, lettuce, peas and beans grow all year.

Yes then Spring and Summer bring nice eating too Gail, we dont bother so much in Summer as long as we have cukes, lettuce, tomatoes, radish and spring onions I am very happy.. We are on our last pumpkin now I didn't worry about them as I had too many last year Ack these just came up by themselves and I dont think I even watered them due to all the rain we got
