MA wow, that daisy is the lovleist daisy I have ever seen , did your neighbour give you the plant that goes with it . I ve tried to grow that African daisy of Gails a few times, no luck, they don't like it here. I've seen that one in garden mags but never in real life.
We have a sunny ,windy day again .
John was here yesterday, did mulching plus planted some ground covers and Canna tropicana.
Faye is off to the gallery today [ respite ] flower

Noela was up in Toowoomba yesterday for the day so bought it for me, she always buy me little presents I give her thousands of photo's for her scrap-booking.. banana banana

Those daisies are so pretty. My uncle gave me a piece of one once, it grew for a while but died after a year or so in the drought when it didn't get watered Crying or Very sad His was called Starry Eyes or something like that.

Would that first bulb be a sparaxis? I think it looks similar to mine last year.

Love a surprise with that bottom one banana my jonquils have always had a few buds not just a single so might be a daff thumb2 flower

Yes they are pretty Gail.. Maybe it was a pic of yours I remembered..

Thanks for the name I googled sparaxis images and it looks like them I have never grown them before..

Oh that would be great if its a Daffodil as I tried growing them when we first came here but they did not flower I did manage to grow some of the white jonquils in a pot they flowered for two years then disappeared Very Happy This one is out the front garden on the SW position so its pretty cool there for most of the day though that will change soon..

If the sparaxi looks like it likes your conditions up there then beware the sparaxi. We planted them here and they just ran amok. laughing wit tears Multiplied like crazy. Took quite a bit of work but I got rid of every single one. No, I tell a lie, after years of thinking they were gone , an orange one appeared.
I love that daisy, very nice indeed! I think Gail's right and you have a Daff.
