| Thanks. I love 'em all too.
My little pink dendrobium has buds in too so will be able to compare them and clear any confusion
The babianas seem to be a tough little bulb. We dug all the bulbs out and put them in pots this year but have to wait for them to flower to find out which is which. | |

| Gail Too Tough.. I have found heaps of tiny Babiana growing in my road-base driveway looks like a spraying job to get rid of them they must have very fine seeds to pop up in that hard packed surface about 120 cms and more from where I planted the bulbs the year before guess I will have to get the weedkiller out as it looks like they are going to be very evasive here so maybe best in pots then that's not going to stop the seeds is it I hope Gwen sees this otherwise I will PM her the sad news.. | |

| Mary-Anne, I haven't seen any come up in previous years since I've had them in the garden but will keep a lookout for them. It might depend on having just the right weather conditions at just the right time for them to germinate... hope so anyway as it will lessen the chances of them spreading too much. | |

| Gail I hope so too..We had so much rain the past 9 months then this burst of warm weather the past two weeks maybe that's why.. I was shocked as when I looked closely first off I though they were weeds now they are 2cm tall and there is no mistaking them as Babiana I have pulled up so many but there is still plenty there I will wait a little longer then spray.. I will have to watch those Sparaxi now too as Betty said they Multiply like crazy. It is a shame Gwen as they are so pretty and stay in flower for a long time | |
