| Forget about the 30 cms high I will blame my eyesight Seems that one was laying down having a rest and only the flower part was up. Those plants there are about four of them the height would start around 70 cms And the taller ones would be about one metre high.. | |

| MA Babiana ..I have one growing well, this morning the bud opened and its buttercup yellow, much to my surprise as I was expecting a blue shade. I googled some info to discover they come in many colours. | |

| Hey send it back I have not got a yellow one.. Just joking Gwen that interesting fancy that, well they say seeds do not grow true to type and those ones I sent you were tiny so would have come from the seeds of last years purple or blue ones, as I had no yellow ones last year even on the packet they were only purple and blue I am happy to see that the Babiana has opened for you I googled also and I like that yellow and the red.. | |

| Thanks for looking anyway Val, yes it is a sweet little plant..
Gwen there are heaps of new Babiana seedlings under my Julia's rose thats where I planted the original packet of 10 Babiana bulbs last year and where your seedlings came from, there are plenty more growing between the loose brick edge and in the roadbase driveway, and if this heat keeps up they wont be there long they will be well and truely cooked, time will tell what colour they will be maybe next year they will flower. | |
