Only one bloom but what a wow Factor
It stood out like a Neon Light as the sun was going down.
Gwen I searched for hours last night and I think I have come up with a name.
This is one I grew from a piece that Gail's sent me..
Google... Plumeria rubra Lava Flow ... and tell me what you think..

Thanks Gwen and while searching I was on the US Garden Web Plumeria Site I go there often when I have problems even put posts on and always get heaps of help there, seems there were a few members complaining about the faded colours of their Plumerias and this was one of them so I found the photo of last Summers blooms its first from Gail's Cutting and what a difference

Last years first flowers.

They were saying on the US Garden Web site that being a cool summer this year in places caused the faded look and a hot dry Summer will make the flowers look so bright now that makes sense as it rained so much from last Spring to Autumn and this Winter and Spring we have had no rain to speak of really and its been so hot it was 36 ° one day in Winter and a few more not much cooler so it looks like the flowers will so much brighter this year.. banana banana

Thats probably why my Dwarf Petite Pink looked more pinker this year..

Thats very interesting MA I suppose its only logical the weather has a big effect on plants ,it sure does on humans . we have had an extremely dry winter and drought conditions .I had 5 trees flowering inseptember and now all the flowers have finished I am expecting those to rebloom.I must have a look at that us site. Yes I agree Gwen well look at the Bougainvillea they look best in the Spring after a dry Winter and mine were terrible this year due to all that rain we had earlier in the year. Gardenweb Australia was the first garden forum I joined up on years ago, actually that's where I met Gail and Daniel after they joined up..

Yes my Plumeria are flowering earlier this year it must be the dry as that J.L. pansy took forever to get its first flower probably because of all that rain.
