| The local Corella birds have been stripping the pine tree nextdoor...they do this every December...the new acorns (is that what they are called??) must be the attraction. The day I took this photo we had strong gusty SW winds...this fellow was hanging on for dear life. | |

| Well done Fay A great pic it looks like it is hanging on for its life too. This time of the year we get the Cockatoos, same thing they are stripping the flowers off the top of the White Grevillea Banksii, I guess next they will start on the sunflowers that have gone to seed.. I call it Natures pruning as I certainly cannot get up there to do it | |

| Fay . thats a great shot , don.t they drive you mad with the screeching.We get 100's of rainbow lorikeets here for summer . i won't grow qld umbrella or mango trees or trees that they frequent. I DO LOVE ALL THE PARROTS BUT NOT IN MY GARDEN THANK YOU | |
