First pic is taken of the first flower on my Costus speciosa the plain green leaf one .











This is a close up which is nor clear . I could'nt get the scooter close enough so had to lean over and hope the flower was in the picture . I achieved camera shake .I will have to get Faye to get a close up ome looking into the flower.





I am rather pleased that I will not have to ask Faye to take all the photos .

Wow! What a beautiful plant, Gwen. It must be sensational when all of them flower. Does it have a nice perfume? I agree with Cheryl - nice photo's. You be careful leaning over, we don't want to hear you've taken a tumble off the scooter.

It is so delicate Betty with that crepe flower , I can't smell much perfume but the ants crawl over all the ginger flowers .

None of my Gingers have bloomed yet and as you know the Bee Hive and Torch Ginger don't flower at all, makes me wonder if they ever will.. Crying or Very sad
