Gee, they are unusual, Gwen, and very nice. Surely a lot of these make up for not growing roses?

Both pretty Gwen.. You have to love that blood lily it's certainly different I don't have one myself but have seen them around..

I always think ,what a waste of space these two are, as for more than half the year they are dormant and there's nothing to see but suddenly up they pop and give such a lovely show and you are glad you grow them.

So are many other tropicals Gwen but we still grow them as you say for that once a year when they are blooming marvelous
