A few shots from the past few weeks. 203802 Your garden is a feast for sore eyes, Fay.
Just what I need to see, to keep my spirits up and remind me what is in store -- if I can just get through the next 8-10 weeks of winter.

Beautiful, Fay. I have never seen the perennial primrose before, or the spider lilies, so thanks for sharing your photo's. Oleanders I like, that one is a lovely colour, but they are so deadly poisonous I couldn't grow them because of our pets and stock. They do grow quite well in this area but after a friend losing a beautiful chestnut mare due to it eating Oleander I've had to forget it. The general garden shot - what bliss. I'd like to find a shady spot where I could lie on the grass and be cool, and look at your lovely flowers. Are the pink ones zinneas?

Thanks folks... not a lot of flowers around my garden ATM.....wrong time of year..and the heat.
Re the Primrose, it used to be in a pot and it was a 'so so, small, nothing special' plant...after it hit the real dirt it showed its full potential. I guess not all plants are suited to pots. winky-winky
Yes, the hot pink/purple plants are Zinnias....the seed are sold by Johnson seeds so all seeds result in this gorgeous colour.
Here is another Zinnia, which I love...it is from seed I saved last year (an instant colour potted plant) ...the plant died back very suddenly and I wasn't sure if the flower had set seed. I planted some of the 'not sure seed' and hoped for the best...they must have been viable as some plants eventually popped up......I think my biggest mistake was sowing the seed too early..the earth hadn't warmed up sufficiently after winter. I love Zinnia....to me they are the perfect summer flower..I think they can suffer from mildew...but so far, I haven't had that problem. Touch wood....lol..

Gee, that's a stunner, Fay, and just think, I'll be able to think of planning a smaller Summer garden once we are on the pipeline. Zinnias can be at the end of the list, alphabetically. I have never ever been able to think about summer flowers. What else is good in summer? I am finding my tomatoes are doing much better in the ground than in pots, you can't beat real dirt, can you? I dimly recollect someone telling me there was a worry with zinnias. (Rust?) You can only try though.
