Val I use it more in the summer when I place a few leaves in ice water.
Looks good and gives a fresh taste to the water.

banana Marlene . Well it was well worth the wait.I love every shot.
The shadows thrown by the wooden slats are so beautiful.
I love the alocasia , elephant ears and the variegated heart shaped leaves.
The Tillandsia tree is great, what is that blue I see ,is it a glue to stick the plant on the wood.

Beautiful Marlene. I love all the alocasias and other aroids. I have a few myself... is that Hilo Beauty in the second pic behind the variegated macrorhiza?

Actually that isn't growing in the hanging basket. It's a single Alamanda (I think that's what it is called) creeping along the top of the retaining wall. It sometimes grows onto the timber slats and hubby goes mad and says it will rot them so he keeps cutting it back.

Yes, noticed Stingray above/behind Hilo. I have all three but aren't that big yet and will probably die back soon but hopefully next year...

I also meant to say that I love the tillandsia tree thumb2
