How about one moe piccy before you give in. HERE IS A BIG CLUE ,SEE THE LEAF . OK HERE'S THE PICCY OF THE SHRUB. Its my Pink Ixora with seed berries.Have never noticed berries in it till now .Faye was chasing a Cairns birdwing butterfly to take its pic. and naturally it would not settle, then she noticed the seed berries. Did you guess before the pics of IXORA APPEARED. | |

| I've never seen berries on mine. I'll make sure I check when it has finished flowering. | |

| I miss mine for that reason Fay this is one plant I will be replacing. There are plenty of crappy plants in my garden I would not miss at all.. Actually I may get two as there are so many different colours or shades of colours. | |

| I used to have 7 different Ixora but only have 3 left , the pink one pitured grows tall ,Ihave dwarf light pink, good to keep tip pruned.and the old fashioned Prince of Orange which Isee everywhere cut as a flowering hedge . I Ixora for that reason they are never without flowers. I used to have a beautiful one called Ixora coxinia [really red] and very big heads of flowers , its a weeping type and needs to be in a show off position without competition. I intend to get one again.I also had a lovely one called NewGuinea Gold , big tight packed head of flowers .. orange with yellow here on there in the flower head .I had a white one that suckered so much, drove me mad.there as so many new ones to choose from now. | |

| We've got a couple but only one does much good here. The others are still less than a foot high after a couple of years. Hopefully if we keep on getting regular rain they might grow. Our big one flowers for most of the year except the very middle of winter. I had a look this morning and no sign of berries on the older flower stems but still lots of buds to open yet. | |
