Tip pruning cucumbers

As can be seen in this picture...



the cucumbers are madly climbing the eastern end of the vege cage. Now here's the thing, should I tip prune them about now as they reach the top, and if so will that cause more growth back along the vine...a bit like pumpkins?

Not that I have any idea, but maybe do a couple to see what happens?

Thanks Jason and Mary-Anne. I might pinch the tips out of the tallest ones on the weekend. The vege cage is pretty full at present and so much more to grow...decisions, decisions!

That's a good site Mary-Anne. I had seen it before, used some ideas in the garden newsletter, but had forgotten about it. This time I bookmarked it I've just spent the last half hour looking through it again and getting some more ideas.
