Having A Restful Day On The Computer..

The Big Beast was in getting fixed during the week gee I missed that wide screen.
So I had to work on the laptop gee are my eyes getting that bad..

Anyway come across some pics I forgot I had so I have been playing around.

Waterlilies from Roma Street Parkland:



Seduction this morning after one of the many showers of rain we had.



Sat down at my Favourite Lavender waiting for the Bees.
Sadly they never came because of the rain..

French Lavender:

fabulous, Mary-Anne...I love the way the waterlilies are arranged in that photo.

The cold weather must be effecting my Seduction, because when it flowered it was more white, less pink. Lovely photo's.

Thanks Fay those Waterlily photo's were not the best but all grouped together they don't look so bad..

Betty I have sharpened that pic but only lightened the colour as it was dark and gloomy when I took those photo's.. I have that problem with my pink roses too but only in the Summer I reckon the Sun bleaches the colour out of them. My Roses are always at their best in the Winter.

After the big prune when ever you do it and the new Spring growth they should be back to their lovely wider pink edged colour

Sunset from Grassy Hill. JamesCook went up Grassy Hill to look out over the coral sea to find a way out through the reef.This pic looks inland over Endeavour River.Down in the foreground of the pic is where he beached the Endeavour to make repairs after running into a reef.

Fantastic pics there Gwen.. the Sunsets and the Kookaburra are beautiful a shame about SA there must have been something in the sand they did not like chewing.. Interesting wharf nothing like that around here, and you have almost got Uluru on the sea shore..

Cooktown is a truly beautiful area, I'm really going to have to visit up there one day. Love that map!
