| We went for a walk down to the Lagoon before lunch as it was a lovely day. Tony always stops and gives the horses some grass they love that. They are so friendly I guess they know us now. Too bad if you wanted to have a picnic near the water Its a little flooded though the birds love it.. Somewhere under that water is the dock where the boys with their toys play. Sunday mornings they are down there with the remotes scaring the ducks away. They did not have that problem today.. I was surprised to see a spoonbill flying off first time for me.. You would never know there is a shopping centre behind the trees Middle left that building is Coles.. I like the other end the best all you see is water and duck/birds/horses | |

| Beautiful photos of a lovely spot MA. Yes it's a trifle wet isn't it? I love the cloud formations you've captured too. | |

| Thanks Gwen it is a delightful area and No the water has not receded yet, there is nowhere for it to go except by evaporation and I am glad as the Old Boys with their noisy remote watercraft have not been on the Lagoon for weeks so they wont be there this Sunday either..
I think I may have a pic of the spoonbills spoon shaped beak I will see if I can find it for you..
Our March Newsletter states Logan Council are going to build a new jetty and storage facility for the model boat club what a shame for the birds.. | |
