| The Water Dragons were everywhere there was water that makes sense. Reckon its a Male.. Not worried about us one bit...I went right up to this one For a close up of its eyeball This one came for lunch one of the local office workers shared his grapes At least he did not give the Water dragon any of his Sandwich Found this one amongst the flowers I think this one wanted to come home with me or it wanted my grapes. Get a load of those toenails.. | |

| I wouldn't like one of the running up my leg Great pics though... and they do love grapes ;) BTW, both water and bearded draons can and will bite (A big one cab take off a person's finger) but aren't likely too unless threatened. | |

| Thanks Gail..
Being right in the big smoke Richard many office workers have their lunch there so I reckon that do. That one was ever so gentle taking the grape out of this guys hand, it certainly didn't bite the hand that fed it.

| Thanks Gail that looks like it I will look later. The only thing I did not like about the Parkland was no names on the plants, the two young chappies there did not know lots of names, either did the Volunteers though one of them was very helpful and went back and checked in a book twice he gave me names of plants I did not know, he said he did not know a weed from a flower before he started giving his time here. I told him he was doing very well and by the smile I got back I would say he was very pleased.. | |

| Gaura is actually a bad weed down south but not here apparently. I've had mine for 3 or 4 yrs now and I haven't had any come up by seed though I have started a couple by cuttings. | |

| Is it, that interesting.. I dont have any but it looked great at the Park in drifts moving with the breezes.
Speaking of cuttings Gail I broke off two pieces of my pink Ruellia macrantha a few months back plonked them in the garden bed with the day lilies found them last week when dividing the daylilies two nice looking plants hidden under all those strappy leaves..

One of the nurseries in Bris, that has a restaurant attached, has signs up about not feeding the dragons. They all come up and sit under the tables waiting and some are HUGE.
