I have just experienced the loveliest 15 minute show put on by a pair of Yellow breasted Sunbirds.
Right outside my full length window I have quite a few pots with plants waiting for John to plant out.
The largest of the plants is about 3 ft high with 5 flowers in a cluster opened.[ purple ]
The are male and female sunbirds perched on this Bauhinia blakeand, beaks in and out of the flowers gathering nectar and chirping a delightful song. so beautiful.
Waiting their turn are a pair of Lewins honey eaters, perched on a shrub nearby, as soon as the sunbirds left they took their place.WOW.
