Cooktown Art Festival blog

MA this is the blog on the Cooktown Art Feastval, Faye does the web site and blog for the Art Society. Ill post another pic of Fayes Arty Bra which shows if better.Faye put the short Video's on although her camera is not really good for that type of pic and the ones in the park with the choirs was an awlful night with strong winda and rain. But it does give a good idea and sets a moon.

In the closse up pic you will notice a red cord hanging from under the bow , the cord ended in a noose which when pulled rand the bells .The handa were a glove made for the arctic and looked like real hands at first glance.

I love fun art!! I'll have a look at the site later as I'm supposed to be doing the school garden newsletter not looking on here

The stuff on the art festival is far from finished ,only a couple of the venues have been covered . Faye out at present taking pics of other things eg, ABORIGINAL ART,POTTERY.ART GALLERY,CWA,
and others I've forgotten . Its being held over 3 days , so theres a lot for Faye to do attending ,pic taking ,sorting,and posting to the blog.If you go on the blog in the next few days you'll see additions.Hope you enjoy.

yes M,A Faye is in the last group on the blog in a red t shirt .also before you reach the bottom there;s a pic of Faye holding her winning entry in the golden brush award. The theme was footprints.Every month the members pick a theme and they each bring a small painting along to br judged by a visitor who happens to be viewing the gallery.
