I Found Two Little Ones..

Waiting for the sun to go off the wall of the house that I want to paint so I was slowly walking around the garden with camera in hand and I hear Tony yelling out from the house, Spikey is down the back he is about 10 inches long mind you Spikey has been gone to dragon heaven for about a year anyway I go looking for a Bearded Dragon that size and much to my surprise I find two tiny ones so cute lucky if they were 15 cms-6 ins long.

Smaller than last years Dusty so there has to be a new family on the block somewhere, I get down low and chat to them and take a couple of pics





Humm then I think to myself I would love to pic one up so I go in the shed and get a pair of my thick gardening gloves, well a girl has to be a little careful the first time dont you think..

The first one ran off as soon as I put my gloved hand near it, but the other one did not it just sat between my fingers enjoying the high life..



I had a terrible time trying to take a pic of it in my right hand as I had to change the settings from sun to shade with my left and hold the jolly big camera as well and I am not left handed so I was surprised that two were in focus

I patted its little head and rubbed its fat little tummy as it lay in my hand then I put it down and I am sure it said goodbye to me before it made it way into the bamboo clumps..



I am sure we will all meet again in the coming months, now I wonder where dusty is

Aww Thanks Val.. This is the first time I have tried to pick one up I was kind of surprised too, I have seen a lot of them in the garden the nine years we have lived here, though these two are the smallest I loved the way the little one just laid in the palm of my hand letting me touch it, it did not jump or bite it was so cute, it did not seem frightened either

I think I have a magic garden...
