| Were they from seeds you bought or that I sent up, Mary-Anne? I got sent seeds for mini sunflowers but they wouldn't germinate for me. Could you save me some seeds, please? That's very pretty. | |

| Thanks Betty it is very pretty they are only supposed to grow 45cms so its doing well. No this is from that packet of seeds I moaned about when there was only 25 in the packet I have planted them all but sadly only two have come up though Tony just told me that the very short one is flowering down near the Nectarine tree but it faces the chook yard not the garden that's probably why I have not noticed it I did know it had a bud as I took a pic and posted it on that other topic.. He also said the one of 150cm ones had lots of flower buds up the top they would be the packet of Bronze ones I think. Did you look at the pics you asked me for on the *My First Sunflower is Opening * Topic I took pics of all of the Sunflowers that were up. I will go find that other link that has a pic of the seed packets on it. Had to go back till July that the day I planted them the 28th only took ten weeks from seed to flower that's not bad. They are the ones in the blue packet.. https://gardendelights.forumotion.net/in-the-garden-f4/been-shopping-t681.htmAnd they dont look anything like the pic on the packet and they are certainly not the bronze ones as they grow to 180 cm maybe thats why it germinated because it may not be one of them.. And yes I will certainly keep you plenty of seeds Just hope the stay away... | |

| That is a gorgeous photo, on a par with your one of Julia's rose. I would love to have your camera. I received more mini seeds in the mail today and have planted some, so fingers crossed that they germinate this time. | |

| Thanks Betty both photo's taken with my new telephoto lens.. Its a shame its so heavy as I have to put it on the tripod every-time I use it. I had a look at the mini down near the Nectarine tree same as the one in that pot above its only about 15 cms tall and looks like a jolly weed with a fat yellow tummy All the best with those seeds Betty.. Took this one below just before 6pm tonight I could not get it to face me its taller than me and I could not hold it far enough away as I was using my macro lens, so I will take one of its brown and yellow face tomorrow from inside the chook yard.. | |

I am busy this morning so I will get back to you later by PM..

That is very kind of you, MA....however I am a also a bit stretched for wall space, so it might be best to leave your kind offer for the moment. I can still enjoy looking at the photos as you add them...thanks again.
