| A lot of animals live there it is a huge place and most times we could not even see them being 36° both days and very humid as every night it rained so most of the big animals were right at the back of their enclosures. This White Rhino wasn't though its resting in the heat.. The Camels were enjoying the heat also. I had my Super Telephoto Lens I could not get them with my normal lens As these Giraffe were about 30 mts away This is a Persian Onager. I felt so sorry for this very old Elephant look at its skin A bucket of moisturiser it needs badly I wonder if it came from a circus and wasn't wanted anymore.. Whats more Australian than a Silky Oak and Cookatoos. Found a lot more Rhino further on this one has its horn cut off I wanted to take this Baby Zebra home how cute is this The Tigers were resting right at the back in the shade don't blame them. This lovely Lagoon was alive with Ibis hundreds of nests in the dead trees. Enough for now enjoy..

| Gee I made a couple of spelling mistakes there So I fixed them up Yes you have to feel sorry for that old Elephant, but the Rhino no way it was fast asleep when we came there then his rabbit came in under the fence and ran past it and next thing the Rhino's eye opens so the rabbit went for its life and the Rhino went back to the job of sleeping. Glad you enjoyed them Gwen.. Thanks Val they were loosing their Winter coat so did not look the best.. | |

| Fabulous photos... I haven't heard of a Persian Onager before...he looks a bit of a mix of a few animals. The baby zebra is too cute...and the lagoon is beautiful...if I was a bird I'd live there. Thanks for the photos, MA . | |

| I thought that Onager looks liked a mixture of donkey, ass and zebra with out any stripes of course Yes the lagoon was beautiful there were a few watering holes, one had a island in the middle where the monkeys lived. My pleasure Fay I am just a bit short on time lately.. I will try and add a few more pics on every Topic each day if no time to start a new one later.. | |
