Mum had a nice wisteria when we were kids at home. Don't know why I've never tried to grow one here(yet). LOL. Good lerns, obviously. thumb2

We had them growing here...they are truly beautiful. I saw that one at Mary-Anne and Tony's recently. They are a gorgeous plant especially when in flower. One of our was very big and strong and it was wrapping around a large tree out the back. The tree died - I wonder if the wisteria choked it???

Thanks Daniel.. I have seen them with vines as thick as my arm and thicker when I lived in Melbourne so it would not surprise me at all.

I will be keeping a close watch on this one which is planted against a dead tree.
