| I don't keep up with all posts but somewhere last night I saw a question from when I was away asking about my Frangipani cuttings...perhaps from Otamot???? I have some up the back growing in pots, happy to give some away but too big to post; would need to collect. Here is new Frangipani Grove down the front...needs a weed and mulch...but all in good time... There are some further down in front of plumbago...4 I think. | |

| Sorry Gwen - that should read there are 4, I think, down the front. Having aid that, around the whole yard there probably would be a good 20 or so, plus the ones growing up back to give away. I will take a pic of the later on in the growing in an old horse float.
Many are a simple white with yellow centre, or a variation on fruit salad/tri colour (sorry, I can never tell the difference I am afraid, I love all of them), a red, some pinks, an orange. Hoping to get some colour next year. Should look ok by then.

| Where did you get the orange one from Daniel.. Those two beautiful orange ones a couple of street away are still there, maybe one day I will go and ask for a branch as both shrubs are very bushy..
I am getting so excited my JL Pink Pansy *White with pink edge* that I planted in 2006 has finally got its first bud, problem now is its getting cold and will it open in time for me to see it as its planted on the south east side of the block where the frosts hit, I may take two cutting off it and see how they go, its a very big long leafed plant nothing like the others I have, the branches and trunk are also thicker than the normal Frangipani also..

| I am happy to share but as you can see they really need to be picked up by vehicle. They are all over 12 months old. | |

| The garden club stands were probably the highlight of the expo for me. The Frangipani board display was very good. I noticed the people manning the stand had shirts bearing the name "The Frangipani Gardens".
Other than these stands the "expo" was a bit too gimmicky for me. More a sales expo than anything else...but that is just my opinion. Kerrie bought a hat; I bought a gardening magazine.

| Exactly what I thought about that one five years ago Daniel selling garden statues, water features, and the likes, you should not have to pay to see those type of things, just go to any Bunnings seems its just the same..
Frangipani Gardens if just over a couple of suburbs towards your way in Forest Lake I visit their online site often http://www.thefrangipanigardens.com.au/products_tfg_page.html
As long as Kerrie and You had a great afternoon that's the main thing..

| That's a pretty frangi Daniel.
The main idea behind those expos is to give people an idea of what's out there... it is just advertising for businesses and makes it easier for the public when it's all in one place. The main reason I go to them is to get ideas... usually too dear to buy from.
