A few Ginger have already shown new growth They were all planted on March 19 th less than a month Costus dubius has shown new cones with flowers below.
Costus dubius [a dormant] type
Spiral growth on Costus french kiss
Costus speciosa.variegated leaf.
Just waiting on fitst flower. To be continued as there is more progress.

I love the way they grow in spirals too ,seems un natural though.

Oh, what I'd give to have your growing conditions... at this time of year here the gingers are thinking of going dormant not growing and flowering. At least we can enjoy yours over winter
