| They are as green as Gail the bunch on the other one is even worse. It has not been what you would call a warm Summer has it just very humid Its good that you have plenty of passionfruit, they freeze well too.. | |

| Cant buy kents seeds here, can someone spare two or there seeds for me. I grow Green Chestnut a very nice, strong tasting, dry, with a dark orange flesh, down side to to this variety is half the pumpkins i think dont have there flowers fertilized properly as they end up with a darker skin, hollow seeds and taste less, the chocks end up eating these.I've grown these for ten years now but i think i would like to try some thing else, If you girls say they good they must be good | |

| I haven't got any kent seeds left at the moment... no home grown ones left, just planted the last of the seeds a couple of months ago, and have been buying butternuts for a change but if the others don't have any, next time I have some I will send you some. | |

| I find kents have a much nicer and slightly sweeter taste than the big greys... and much moister. My kids, none of whom like pumpkins much... eat them under protest, prefer kents for their flavour. They greys don't have too bad a flavour if left until fully ripe... I find a lot of bought greys are too green still and haven't developed their full flavour so I prefer them home grown and left on the vine as long as possible. | |

| We all have different taste buds and Kent remind me of Pawpaw Its colour almost identical with a overpowering taste just like them.. | |

| This is one of mine from last year. It weighed between 8 and 9 kgs... my kitchen scales don't go that high... not a very good picture as it was taken with my old camera | |
