| She is one of the brand newies in the bed, taken 8 months to get to this stage, where either craps plants from Trels or sour soil that I brought in when the new bed was put up | |

| You know it could have been that new soil you bought, many years ago we bought so many trailer loads of a so called organic mix was a little pricey and turned out to be terrible it was more like potting mix.. A couple of years later tried a different soil, sandy soil and yes another flop that went into the new raised rose bed, a year later I dug up some of the front grass/lawn and put the roses there they flew away.
All the bought soil was dumped down the chook yard and mixed with everything we had and now we have plenty to spare, your own garden soil is the best even if you have to work on it.. | |
