thumb2 One of my new Frangipani's planted end of november 08 [ 6 mths ago ]is putting out
its first flower .This ons is named Wishy Washy 11 or Cooktown Queen. I am assured it will not reach its true colour till its 2/3 years old.
Here are a few pics . there won't be any moe flowers till next flowering season , leaves are starting to drop now for the winter sleep.

Very pretty Gwen... It looks like my Darwin Sunset.. It too has a bright pink bud.

I still have flower buds on My Dwarf Petite Pink gasp

It's a delicate colour and pretty shape.

I've still got the odd flower on the big mature frangis and a couple of buds on the others but don't know if they will open.

While sloshing around the garden this morning, I was amazed to find three more frangi's with buds on them

Mine you with all this cloud cover it is so much warmer here than it was a couple of weeks ago.. gasp

MA. That petite pink is an evergreen is,nt it
Here is a pic of Wishy Washy or Cooktown Queen in its 3 rd year.
Gail you are lucky to have them still in bud .

The plants are all over the place when it comes to flowering at the moment. I saw some jacarandas flowering in town two weeks ago, a poinciana was fully out in flower about 4km away from us a couple of weeks ago as well. All the cordylines are flowering, tibouchina, hibiscus and anthuriums are still flowering... and I even heard some baby birds the other day.

It is a evergreen Gwen though only in Tropical Areas.
Down here it looses its leaves actually they are all gone now that's how I noticed the buds on it.

Gail I have a cordyline, tibouchina, hibiscus and anthuriums red and pink still flowering also
