| Nice ones there Gail do you have lots of flowers on the bougs, most of my boug's are a dead set lost this Winter they hate all this water though some under the tall gum trees are flowering ok because the gum roots sucking up all the moisture.. | |

| Scarlett O'hara is still coming out in flower. Only started a few weeks ago Singapore Pink isn't looking very good at the moment as we moved it a few weeks ago. It had been sitting on the ground without a tray under it so had rooted into the ground. It dropped quite a few leaves and we were worried we would lose it but it's starting to get new growth on it again now so will trim it back soon. Rikki Ann isn't flowering as well now as it flowered really well over summer and hadn't even finished flowering then before it started again. It didn't get a trim after flowering either or it would have lost this lot of flowers. This was Rikki Ann on the 2nd March this year. | |

| I don't know its name Gwen. We bought it about 10yrs ago in a tiny tube and it struggled for years on top of a rock dry bank throughout the drought without being watered. I'm surprised it survived. It would only be a fairly common one, I'll have a look later and see if I can find a name. | |

| Yes your Bougs are like some of mine lots of leaves and not many flowers Maybe the Spring flowering will be better here if the soil ever dries out.. | |

| The big boug is still coming out yet, only had half that number of flowers last week and there are plenty of tiny red bracts just starting to show along the branches. It gets a fair bit of shade at this time of year.
Before we moved the two pots a few weeks ago, they were both getting a little too much shade but should do better now on the front patio area where it is hotter and sunnier. I don't trim the ones in pots hard as I like the softer informal look of it hanging down over the pot rather than in a compact ball. | |

| Yes the shade has a lot to do with them not flowering, my dwarf bougs in the pots have not been pruned for about a year now Gail they are all roots so not growing at all though were still flowering around Easter time March-Early June which is the norm for them.. | |
