| At last after 10 days ago Five days ago: Two days ago: And finally yesterday My First Anemone Opened.. A bright red one.. This one is from the very first lot I planted in March else where in the garden. Amazing a few of those managed to survive all that rain we had since. I seen a new bud close by to it also 9 days to go for another flower.... | |

| Thanks So Much Fay.. Yes Nature sure is amazing I used to do the count down on my roses once, that was a while back. I think it makes the topic just a little more interesting.. So much better than posting the one flower which is all I have. | |

| I used to grow beautiful Anemones when I lived in Toowoomba. Can't grow them here in Buderim under the palm trees. | |

| Bright and cheery to brighten your day. None of my anemones survived from last year but I noticed my first spring star this morning and the jonquils from last year are budding up | |

| That's a shame Marlene.. After I lost the next three lots of 270 corms I had enough sense to put three in a big pot they are months behind that one above but I can always move them around when the weather gets warmer.. I have heaps of those Spring Stars this year (may have to bin some) but none flowering yet Gail, also a few strange looking leaves could be Jonquils from Cheryl that are thickening up very nice.. I found two more anemones just before I will put the pics on when I download them.. | |
