Our Darwin Family left early this morning . their visit was enjoyable for all and its lovely to catch up again , especially with the 2 grand daughters they griow so quickly.
During their stay JOHN [SON] and Trish put in a lot of irrigation for me, it will be so much easier now to turn on the taps and the sprayers will do all the watering. both systems they put in have timers.
Since I posted last I have had a few new plants flowering . Here are 2 new Hibiscus flowers .
NO 1 Hibiscus moonraker. to see the bud you would.nt imagine the colour the flower is .

Glad you had an enjoyable break with your family flower

That Moonraker is spectacular colour!!

Grapette is pretty too, I have a similar coloured one (not grapette) but I nearly lost it... starting to come good now but hasn't flowered recently.

Grapette is gorgeous, Gwen, such a delicate mix of pink and lilac or mauve. The other is very eyecatching.

thumb2 Yes I love them both . This morning there was another moonraker in flower . Faye went out to pick is to put by my chair , when picking it she accidently picked it with another bud close to it getting picked too , shame but it has plenty more buds , the grapette will have another flower out tomorrow.
