| When the pyrostegia is out in flower you can see why they call it Orange Flame Vine as from a distance it can look like the fence is on fire. I can't get a decent picture of it anymore as there are too many other plants in the way now and most of the flowers are on the other side of the fence... the cows get a better view than we do! This is only half of the vine, the rest is the other way... also a good picture of the weeds which I haven't had a chance to pull out yet. There are a couple of pumpkin vines here which makes weeding difficult but they have died right back now after that extra cold spell... haven't picked the pumpkins yet though... still see a couple on the ground among the weeds. The mandarine tree still has plenty of fruit, we have eaten about half of them so far. The banana trees have really grown well in the last few months too. | |

| Lovely colour I love it but cannot grow it here again , too rampant in our soil. I'll just enjoy your pics. | |

| Thanks.
This one is fairly well behaved here and only runs along the fence with just the occasional piece that needs trimming. It's a shame I can't get a better pic as it looks much better than this shows. | |

| I've never heard it called that Gwen... I learn something new every day It's worth it Marlene. I saw a stunner in town the other day. It was covering an old dead tree stump... the whole thing was totally covered in orange... really lit up the whole area. | |
