| Just a few of anthuriums we are growing. They are all looking a bit yellow from the cold and I'm surprised they are still flowering at this time of year here. White which was given to me by Marlene. The flower has nearly finished so starting to look a little worse for wear. Marlene, did this one have a name... if it did I must have forgotten to write it down A tiny white one, barely 2cm long Two different reds just opening up A small dark pink A weird one with different shaped spathe which is more green than pink A red Anthurium Scherzerianum Anthurium Mississippi which was given to me by Mary-Anne just starting to flower for the first time. | |

| Do you know the name of the fifth one down Gail, the small dark pink one, it looks very much like the latest one I bought from Beenleigh Market. My Mississippi is flowering its head off too one of my bigger size flowering ones | |

| Yes that's it Gail, spot on with size I just went out with the ruler, looks the same in old age, and the newly opened pic is like one I have here.
Thanks for that and if you ever find out the name I would love to know.. | |

| Gwen, it is too dry here to grow anthuriums epiphytically but planted a couple in the ground a couple of years ago though thinking about digging one out which is slow, the other is doing well. We will plant more in the ground eventually but we want to grow them on a bit first as some aren't very big yet and get a few cuttings of them growing too. Small plants in the garden here tend to get lost or forgotten I water pots every day in summer, every 2nd day or less in winter, the garden has to manage by itself. | |
