Pitta did you know David Liddle?

Pitta I have heard that David Liddle who had a large Hoya collection (Cooktown area) has passed away.
Did you ever purchase any of his plants?

Marlene.I did 'nt know he had died . They had a nursery in MAREEBA on the Atherton tablelands a 3 hour drive south. I did buy Hoyas from him ,must be at least 15 years ago, they had an extensive list, they sent a list by mail and I tried to trace them last year .I found they were still there but not online..
I wonder will anyone else keep the business going.They were going under the trading name of Liddle's nursery.or Liddle's Hoya nursery.Try this site.

This is what was posted on another gardening forum...

"David died of a heart attack suddenly while he slept. He will be missed."

Going by photos I don't think he was all that old.
