| Fantastic Gail I love white too its so cooling, my Iris has not flowered yet. They are all so pretty.. Great Pics I have so many butterfly gingers flowering now I see me binning them soon.. Cheryl I have one of my purple L Iris in a pot in the lily pond.. | |

| That's the first iris to flower so far this year... when I bought it from a guy at the markets he said that it flowered all the time. We only had a couple of flowers last year but that was the first year planted so should have matured a bit by now. No sign of flowers yet on your purple/blue one so far Mary-Anne and no sign of flowers on the iris that Pamela gave me a couple of years ago... hasn't flowered once yet and I can't remember the name of it.
Conditions are a bit tougher here for the butterfly ginger so it won't grow as quick, also plenty of room to put some more around when it does grow. | |

Mary-Anne, I don't know much about iris but from what I have read Louisiana Iris are supposed to flower September to November in Qld so I don't know why this one is flowering now. | |

| Because you are lucky and spring flowering white bulbs are flowering now. This is my White Hippy look at the red I took this two days ago. Wrong time of the year for it too..Very Strange things happening in the garden..  | |
