| Beautiful plants love foliage plants. I have a couple of similar alocasias but not that one. The dieffenbachia cutting you sent me is still doing ok That dracanea isn't tricolour which has white/cream stripes as well as red and green. There is a fairly new (as in a few years now but just found out about ) one called Colorama which has a more intense red on the edges similar to yours. From what I could find out there is D marginata - green with red edge, D marginata tricolour - green, cream & red striped, D marginata 'Colorama' - green with red edge but more red than green, and D marginata 'Black Knight' - a darker nearly black edge. There is a good description of Colorama here http://www.freepatentsonline.com/PP04035.html | |

| Thanks for remarks.Gail thanks for Dracaena info ,I 'll spend some time researching that today. I'll put an Alocasia amozonica in your next parcel. That one in the picture has a lovely big seed pod on it at present.I'll have to get Faye to put a stocking end over it to catch the seed. There were 2 flowers on it and noe one full seed pod. | |
