| Houses get old, so do people and the younger generation do not want to work the land.. Thats why there are so many properties around our area like this old Queenslander.. They are also on huge areas of land 21 Hectares this one is, two roads away from us. We have watched it fall apart over the nine years we have lived here Then last year it was spruced up a bit with a coat of paint Not a good job really I think I liked it better when it had that weathered grey look. No Rule of Thirds when I took this photo.. Just look at that sky I dont see that very often. I wonder what treasures are in here, there may be a lot that are not too. I would not mind the old Outhouse as a potting up shed Painted bright with daisies or some kind of flowers like I think Karingal suggested somewhere. Maybe we will get the chance to see what is in there you never know do you.. | |

| When I saw the photo with the sheds in I was hoping you had one of them and hey presto...I scrolled down.. Looks like quite a decent ute in one of those sheds. 1 and 3 could be mistaken for paintings, Mary-Anne, lovely shots..and...the sky is sensational. Perhaps the land will be sub-divided one day. | |

| Love those old Qld-ers... and sheds. It's a shame they had to enclose that verandah especially with modern windows. It is my dream to do up an old house like that to original. | |

A labour of Love It goes up for auction soon I must look at the notice next time we pass I hope they have a Garage or would that be a Shed sale I would love to go.. Just imagine how many tiny house blocks they can fit on land that size | |

| We've only ever lived in "traditional timber and tin" QLD houses. Our first was a tiny workmans cottage that we basically rebuilt. We than moved into our current house. It was partly renovated and raised before we bought it but we've done heaps and it's still not finished. We love the old houses but I'm afraid we WONT be retiring into one. They really do require a lot of upkeep. | |

| Bubba , Those little cottages are so quaint, you certaintly have done remarkable make overs with those old Queenslanders . The present home is charming. I know they take a lot of upkeep not only timewise but $$ wise too. Thanks for the pics. | |
