| No Gail its not the one I had on before with all the pink berries ,thats still not named . This is a different tree. I posted flower pics last year and called it Calohyllum illaphyllum BUT THAT IS AN INCORRECT NANE.I have bookmarked that 2nd site you gave me so I can peruse it later.Thanks for your help | |

| Gail I went through a-----------z on that beaut site ,no luck with a name ,but one thing I found is the name of my broad leaf native Cordyline =Its C. rubra I had been calling it C stricta . C stricta has black berries .C.rubra has red berries . I looked for this tree ID also no luck. At first glance everyone says one of the Syzygiums but the bottom of the berry on a Syzygium is very different to these.As soon as this one flowers again I'll get pics. | |

| Good about the cordyline Those berries aren't like syzygium berries at all and there are so many other rainforest trees with berries Just going to have to keep looking... but we will find them | |
