| Just a quick guess but either some sort of gomphrenia or alternanthera... it reminds me a bit of khaki weed. I'm in the middle of a job at the moment but will look it up later. | |

| The flowers are like the ones on this plant which is Alternanthera dentata , Flowers get very dry like straw In the Genus there are numerous species . mine is called joy weed .It self seeds and spreads ,we have to whipper it when it starts to take over. The flowers look great in a vase alone or with other flowers. | |

| A description of its growing habits would help - is it an annual, does it spread by creeping or seed, etc?
Have a look at Globe amaranth, Gomphrena globosa... it isn't one of these but is very similar and looks to be in the same family. | |
