Some sort of variegated costus... a softer variegation than the other costus specious variegata but otherwise very similar.

Picked this up at the markets on the weekend, only paid $1 for it. I fairly certain it is an aglaonema, has all the characteristics, but the leaves have a different feel to others I've worked with - much thicker and with a rubbery feel, actually feels rather strange. I will pot it up and give it a feed and see what happens.

The red stems are a nice contrast on the costus.

That aglaonema-like plant has gotten me too... there is even a very slight mottling on the leaves similar to the common ags but the leaves would be twice as thick. I haven't had much chance to look it up anywhere yet.

The leaves look similar to a philo, but I can see that mottled your talking about, maybe we will have to wait and see but my guess is still with aglonema at the moment...
