| That white one has grown well.. How is the Cymbidium tracyanum the brown one from last year has that one grown any more bulbs
Gail from what I can remember from last year I dont have that link it was no less that three bulbs it could have been four and there must be a back bulb I think then it will flower the next year, if you only cut it as one bulb sometimes they dont survive, and two well they could take a couple of years to flower.
Is it the right time of the year to divide, my Cymbidium tracyanum flowers in late June early July and it could be getting ready to grow its flower stem so I would leave it till Spring and then divide..
Maybe someone else will know the right time to do it..

| Same there I got a piece of one of Chery's last year I have not got a name written down either its so different to the Cymbidiums, never did find that piece you sent me I reckon the birds pinched it, my new Cattleya could be big enough too.. I am still waiting for ID on the Lilac one Gwen asked for more pics so I should get a answer next time she is on.. My purple Phalaenopsis is not doing too well I may re-pot it I forgot to cut the flower stem off last year bugga I am trying to get it to get bushier and having no luck. it probably needs more sun too I must be doing something wrong | |

| Do the repot in spring.
Only cut the plant in half and leave the leafless backbulbs on the plants.

| Thanks Marlene, will do Mary-Anne, I know that Phalaenopsis like it warm all year. It won't like winter down this way. My boss at a nursery near Bribie Island had quite a collection of them and he always put them in the hot house every winter and their temps were slightly warmer than yours but a lot of the other orchids he grew coped fine outside. | |

Did you see the pics I put on Gwen you say its a cross do you know what cross Do you reckon it's a Cattleya like the white coloured one I put on..
