| Yes Mary-Anne ...good one for around the fish pond.
Gwen...I think they do grow from cuttings. I am going to try a few and see how I go. I believe they are suitable for different climates.

| I have Bacopa under the willow, and it spreads like a carpet. It's easy to propagate, I usually lift some up and look underneath, roots form along the stems. It is very pretty, but I can't stand the smell of it when you walk over it. Phew!! | |

| I did some Googling , found it grows in water, even flowers under water , in the USA they sell in for fisf ponds Its also called the herb that restores memory , boy do I NEED THAT it says is a half hardy annual which I dont quite understand , is it like being half pregnant. Its used extensivly in India as a medicinal herb, its used fresh in salads, chewed for sore throats , put into herbal medicine and many other uses. Some plants have such an interesting history. They have a lavender coloured one also. | |

| Marlene seeing they grow in water and VAL said they put out roots so easily I think it would be easy to strike stems by putting the in a small glass of water and pot them when they get roots. | |

| It's a very pretty plant... I'll definitely keep a lookout for that one.
Gwen, in horticultural terms 'hardy' means the plant will withstand frosts so half hardy means may handle light frosts
