| Still looks like a DA rose opened doesn't it.. When taking close ups its best to take them further away and crop them. Golden Celebration another pretty one. All my three new DA's are out at present, Mary Rose has finished blooming for a while | |

| I have a couple of Seductions, and a couple of Mary Roses, and they are always first to bloom down here. Wonderful though, two such lovely roses. | |

| Two for today. First, that thorny devil, Fisherman's Friend. A David Austin rose. Then, Twilight Mist. | |

| Some beautiful roses in this thread, makes my few look paltry..lol.. I esp love Julia's Rose and Seduction.. drool, drool. I don't have many roses...but this one is a favourite of mine. It is Ballerina Rose...the flowers form in big clusters, they are simple, small flowers but the quantity makes them stand out.....best part...it is thorn-less. This photo doesn't really do it justice...it looks better in real life. The other day I noticed that there were dozens of bees on it...they love it. | |

| Now that's a really pretty rose, Fay. Your photo makes it look more beautiful than the photo's in two books I've just looked at. Wonder if it's the same though, is yours a hybrid musk? It certainly likes to put on a display, doesn't it? I think I could find a spot for one of those in my garden. My wish list should have shrunk after this year's planting but it hasn't. | |

| Very pretty Betty must say I do like Twilight Mist. Even though I am not a pink rose person its amazing how many I have Fay that is gorgeous its a wonderful rose. I remember Ballerina Rose when years ago one of the members on Garden web put a pic on I fell in with it right off and tried to buy it at Magic Garden Roses when I went down to Melbourne years ago but had no luck that's why I settled for Pink Bassino Instead. A very old pic | |

| Oh, golly, now I want that one too, Mary-Anne. It looks so much better in your photo than in the Treloars catalogue, I reckon they should give you a job. | |

| I really MUST get Purple Tiger, Cheryl, I just love it. I'm off to take a quick tour to see what's flowering this morning, before Ian wants me to help scrubbing out horse troughs. | |

| Burg Berg, I like that Cheryl. Here is the only halfways decent photo I have of Lavendar Pinocchio. The first year it was quite pink but now it's more like the colour it should be. | |

| Yes, it's nice, Cheryl, I sort of group it with Angel Face and Tutu Mauve and am happy to have the three. I have Alfred Sisley blooming this morning and the darn camera went blurry on me. I'll try again later. I really love those striped roses! | |
